Tasting Notes
Things to note when tasting vodka (it should be well chilled before tasting):
- Smell – you should only be able to smell the aromas from the organic products.
- Feel – put the whole shot in your mouth. It will have a nice velvet feel.
- Taste – it will taste crisp, clean and very smooth without the “burning” sensation.
- Breathe – this will allow you to get a sensation of the flavours of the vodka.
 Wild Swan Pure Vodka 40%alc/vol
This vodka has been hand made keeping in mind that Wild Swan is all about excellence. Each step in the process is closely monitored by the Chief Distiller to ensure that the quality of the product is up to the high standards set by the Chief. Once he is satisfied that the vodka is ready, he uses a unique carbon charcoal filtering system which leaves the vodka with a smooth, clean, crisp fresh taste ready for you the consumer. Perfect with soda water and fresh lime.
 Wild Swan Vanilla Vodka 40%alc/vol
Taking the high strength vodka, the Chief Distiller then blends the finest organic Vanilla Beans that are available and uses traditional infusion methods along with a unique method which extracts some of the sweet vanilla flavouring out of the vanilla bean. This is then left for a period of time to marry until the Chief Distiller is satisfied that the Vanilla Bean and vodka are happy as one. It has a smooth caramel after taste at the back of the mouth. As real Vanilla Beans have been used to make this vodka there is also a very slight caramel appearance to the vodka – flavour that you can see.
 Wild Swan Lemon Vodka 40%alc/vol
Using the same principals as the Vanilla Vodka, organic lemons are sourced to make this exquisite Lemon Vodka. By using organic lemons, a more flavoursome, rounded and superior Lemon Vodka is able to be produced. The zestiness of the lemon hits the roof of the mouth and leaves a wonderful refreshing lemon finish. Ideal with soda, lime and bitters. Because real lemons are used to make our Lemon Vodka this leaves a wonderful lemon tinge to the vodka – flavour that you can see.
 Wild Swan Chilli Vodka 40%alc/vol
Using Wild Swan Pure Vodka, specially selected organic chillies are sliced and diced and blended with the vodka. The infusion of the vodka through the chilli releases a pepper taste that is slow to take hold but then explodes with a warm delight that fills your mouth and body with a feeling of excitement and fear of pleasure. This sensation is one to linger on. Beware this vodka is only for those people who dare to take their taste buds to the limit. Live life with a burning feeling have a shot!
 Wild Swan Espresso Vodka 40%alc/vol
Using Wild Swan Pure Vodka, organic espresso beans have been tried and tested and those used in the infusion process would be perfect for any espresso on the streets of Italy. The Chief distiller has been given much praise for his effects in getting the perfect blend of vodka and espresso beans, to bring this very unique vodka to you. Those who need their coffee to survive a day at work will fall in love with the aroma and taste that is Wild Swan Espresso Vodka.
